General

Is your meat fresh and can I freeze it?

Absolutely. All of our meat is freshly prepared by our team of skilled butchers each day. If you're not planning to cook it right away, it’s perfectly safe to freeze. We recommend freezing it as soon as possible after purchase to lock in the best flavour and quality.

Where can I find information about allergens, ingredients and nutritional values? 

Allergen and ingredient information is listed clearly on each product page online and on the labels in-store. If you’re ever unsure or need specific advice, feel free to ask our team or contact us directly — we’re happy to help.

When can I place my order for Christmas?

We open our Christmas ordering system in early November. We recommend ordering as early as possible to secure your preferred collection or delivery slot, as availability gets booked up fast. Follow us on social media or sign up to our newsletter to be first to know when it opens.

What size joint would you advise I buy?

As a general guide, we recommend around 250g per person for boneless joints and 400–500g per person for bone-in joints. That said, it depends on how hungry your guests are (and whether you want leftovers!). Just ask us — we’re happy to help you pick the perfect size.

Ordering - Collect in Store

Is there a minimum order value?

Nope! You can order as little or as much as you like when collecting in-store. Whether it’s a single steak or a full roast dinner kit, we’ll have it ready for you.

When is the order deadline?

We ask for 24 hours’ notice to prepare your order. Place your order today, and we’ll have it ready for collection tomorrow.

What time can I collect my order?

You can collect your order from the shop the next day during our opening hours.

Do you offer free parking?

Yes — there’s free parking right outside the shop, so popping in to collect your order is quick and easy.

I have missed something off my order, what do I do?

No problem. Just give us a ring or drop us an email as soon as you can. We’ll do our best to add it before your order is packed.

Is there a minimum order value?

Yes — our minimum order value for delivery is £50.

What days do you deliver?

We deliver Wednesday through Saturday, and your delivery day depends on your postcode.

We have 25 delivery slots available per day, and they do fill up quickly - so we recommend booking your preferred date in advance.

Our delivery charge is just £3.50 — flat rate.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

You choose your delivery day at checkout. We’ll deliver on that date during the day — easy and flexible.

Do I have to be at home on the day you deliver?

Yes — someone must be home to receive the order. Our drivers are on tight routes and cannot return later in the day, so please make sure someone is available. We deliver between 2pm - 7pm.

Which courier company do you use?

We use our own in-house delivery team — so your order is always handled with care, from our shop straight to your door.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver within a 15-mile radius of our shop, covering a wide range of Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, and surrounding postcodes.

Packaging

What about packaging?

All orders are packaged at our shop with care and delivered by hand in refrigerated vehicles. Your meat is kept chilled and safe throughout the journey and arrives in a clean, sealed bag — ready to go straight into the fridge or freezer.
